Stainless Steel Perforated Plate 904L

content in 904L sheets and plates increases its welding properties. SS 904L plates and sheets are high in performance non-magnetic stainless steel that contains high levels of chromium and nickel. These 904L alloys were basically made to withstand in the environments that contain sulphuric acids.

These SS 904L Sheets & Plates offers good resistance to other inorganic acids such as hot phosphoric acid as well
as most of the inorganic acids. It can be easily welded and can be processed by the high standard fabrication shops. These SS plates are good resistance to pitting and also good at different resistance like crevice, stress corrosion, intergranular corrosion. It has good formability and can bear a maximum temperature of 450 degrees. As it has corrosion resistance features it is used in the process industry. These plates are also used utility scrubber assemblies, acid, and fertilizer production industry. Due to it’s this property it is used in the pulp and paper industry.
Due to all these properties, the SS 904L Sheet is widely used in piping systems, pollution control equipment,
heat exchangers, etc. The 904l stainless plate possesses excellent weldability, formability, and toughness. It is non-magnetic and can effectively resist crevice corrosion. However, due to the presence of expensive elements like molybdenum and nickel in its chemical composition, the 904l steel plate is quite highly priced.

Characteristic machining technology

2B -- Silver white with better gloss and flatness than a 2D surface.
Processing technology: hot rolling + annealing shot peening pickling + cold rolling + annealing pickling + quenching and tempering rolling.
Ba - Excellent surface gloss, high reflectivity, like a mirror surface.
Processing technology: hot rolling + annealing shot peening pickling + cold rolling + annealing pickling + surface polishing + quenching and tempering rolling.
No.3 -- Good gloss, coarse grain surface.
Processing technology: polishing and tempering rolling for 2D or 2B with 100~120 abrasive materials (JIS R6002).
No.4 -- Good gloss, fine lines on the surface.
Processing process: polishing and tempering rolling for 2D or 2B with 150~180 abrasive materials (JIS R6002).
HL -- Silver grey with hair streaks.
